The first step of the journey. This is where many trainers catch their next pokemon.

Sub-board: Trench

The first town in Tanoka to offer a gym battle, which is a ground-type. The whole town is covered in sand and it's a tad western with only a well in the middle for drinking water.

Sub-boards: Pokemon Center, The Well, Arch Gym

Right after leaving Arch Town you're still not rid of the sandy earth. The Drylands is a large expanse of dry land, covered in rocks. The only good thing about this place is there are a bit of ground type and steel type pokemon that live here.

Out of the drylands comes a sandy path known as route two. It leads away from the rocky terrain and to grassy patches.

Now fully away from the sandy earth, the clearing is a flat area full of green shrubs, vibrant flowers, and soft, grassy ground. Many grass type and flying type pokemon live here. It's also an excellent training and picnic ground.

Celestial Village is known as a fun, eventive place to be. It is home to the first Contest Hall, where coordinators receive their first coordinator items.

A large field of flowers is what makes up this route. In it you can find many bird, bug, grass, and normal type pokemon.

A quaint town filled with the smell of flowers. This is where the nursery is found, where you can have them watch your eggs for you.

Sub-boards: Normal Gym, Honey Fields, Nursery

A swamp near Lirani Town. It was once a beautiful, crystal clear river filled with all types of fish Pokemon, but now the only Pokemon left to find are the occasional Swampert or other poison types.

Located between Lirani and Viola, it is home to many grass, normal, and electric type Pokemon.

Viola City is a very active city with a large selection of stores to shop in. Battling is common on the streets as well. The main attraction is the Gym and Contest Hall.

Sub-boards: Viola Gym, Viola Contest Hall, Berry Shop

An expanse of lush greenery and wild flowers. Some grass type Pokemon are found here, as well as poison and bug. Trainers usually train here against wild Pokemon.

Across the mountainous terrain of Route 5, travelers can find many rock and fire type Pokemon on their way.

A large forest with many different types of pokemon in it. It gets it's name from how the sunlight leaves patches on the ground.

The village is small and well hidden at the base of a mountain. It has a Gym, Contest Hall and the Blakewell Acres to offer visitors. It is also a good place to stock up on gear before heading through the cold mountains behind it.

A winding trail up into the snow covered mountains. Many ice type Pokemon can be found here on the mountain. Watch your footing so you don't slip on the ice, there isn't a place to stay till you reach Aurora City on the other side.

Sub-board: Ice Caves

If one manages through the cold mountains, they will find a snowy peaceful city. It is quite big with snow covered buildings and cobblestone floors. The city holds its own gym and contest hall. There is even a lodge where one can take a warm break from the cold.

Sub-boards: Aurora Gym, Aurora Contest Hall, Arctic Lodge

On the edge of Aurora City lies a very small clearing, having nothing but pines surrounding the clearing. In the center holds nothing but plain snow. However, when the moon is full you might be able to see a few Clefairy around.

The route starts with snowy ground, which eventually melts to reveal a smooth sidewalk. The snow and ice will be replaced with grass and woods The closer one gets to Ignis City.
